Bieber to perform new single 'What Do You Mean?' at VMAs

Pop star Justin Bieber will perform his new single "What Do You Mean?" for the first time at the upcoming 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

The 21-year-old "Never Say Never" hitmaker took to Twitter to announce he would performe the song, which will release on August 28, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"Only @mileycyrus. Lol. It's true. I'm performing on the #vmas!! #bieberisback," he tweeted.

"What Do You Mean?" is the lead single from his next to-be-titled album and has been described a "catchy dance track for the club".

Bieber last took the VMA stage in 2010, and this year he will join performers including the Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky, and Twenty One Pilots.
 

Rapper Kanye West is set to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Pop star Miley Cyrus will host the award show which will be aired on August 30.
