They became a symbol of undying friendship on screen in the blockbuster "Sholay", and 40 years later, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra have come together again and brought a sweet nostalgia for fans across the world.
The actors reunited for the finale of Bachchan's TV show "Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi" and both made their entry on a bike and side car, recreating the famous "Yeh Dosti" from the Ramesh Sippy film.
The two Bollywood stars have aged but their camaraderie looked as fresh, as it appeared four decades ago.

Also present at the finale was Dharmendra's actor-director son Sunny Deol, whose directorial venture "Ghayal Once Again" is set to release on January 15.
"Friend colleague neighbour and a gentle giant Dharam ji graced AKRHZ with son Sunny... And fun became... Dharam ji doing a dubsmash of Jai of Sholay with the mouthorgan for Jaya on the roof lighting candle lamps .. Such a sport!!" Bachchan posted on his blog.
