Amitabh Bachchan fans in the city were disheartened as the megastar chose to stay inside the hotel and did not make an appearance for them.
The 74-year-old superstar, who is in the city with his family and friends, is staying in Hotel Ananda.
The "Pink" actor is accompanied by Anil Ambani and his wife Tina Ambani and according to the hotel management as of now they do not have any plans to have a meet and greet session.
Bachchan remained at the hotel and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. As per the hotel source the actor spent some quality time in the lawns with his group.
The Bachchans have their bookings at the hotel located 17 km away from Rishikesh till January 2.
