Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, an active user of social media, today reached a new landmark by garnering 14 million fans on micro-blogging site Twitter.
The 72-year-old actor, who is currently in Cairo, has beaten the likes of Shah Rukh Khan (who recently landed 12 million fans), Aamir Khan (11.9million), Salman Khan (11.2 million) and Priyanka Chopra (9.3million).
"Okay! 14 million on twitter! 20 million on FB... 3 million on Blog... 40 MILLION here I come!!!! BADDDOOOOMMBA!," Bachchan tweeted.
A regular on all platforms, Bachchan keeps his fans entertained by sharing moments from his personal and professional life and connecting with them directly on Twitter. He has so far 39,700 tweets.
