Big Sean credits Kanye West for his success in the industry

Big Sean said Kanye West helped him in building his career in the music industry after they met in 2005.

The 29-year-old rapper has credited the "Famous" hitmaker for his success and for helping him break into the music industry, reported Billboard.

During their meeting Sean asked Kanye, "'Can I rap for you?' He (Kanye) told me I had 16 bars. I ended up rapping for 10 minutes and it changed my life."

Sean was then signed to Kanye's record label GOOD Music two years later.
