At the fag end of the day's business, Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary read out a condolence message recalling the contributions of Gujral during his political career spanning over four decades.
Gujral's death has caused an irreparable loss to the country, he said.
Chaudhary later led the members in observing a minute's silence in the memory of Gujral, who passed away in New Delhi last week.
