A high-level team of Bihar government officials will visit Delhi tomorrow to meet the NITI Aayog brass as a follow-up to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month on financial issues related to the state.
Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh and Secretary to the Chief Minister, Chanchal Kumar, will meet the Aayog's Vice- chairman Arvind Panagariya and CEO Sindhushree Khullar, sources in the Chief Minister's Office told PTI tonight.
The two state officials would discuss financial issues, particularly the loss the state has been facing due to implementation of the 14th Finance Commission recommendations, the sources said.

During his meeting with Modi on March 26, Kumar had discussed financial issues related to Bihar, especially in the context of implementation of the 14th Finance Commission recommendations, which he said will cause a loss of Rs 50,000 crore to the state.
Besides, stating that the Union government's share in centrally-sponsored schemes has been decreased, Kumar had requested the prime minister that Bihar be compensated for the losses.
