Replying to a question by a short-listed question by BJP MLA Vinod Narayan Jha, Water Resources Department Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that 647 posts of women cops had been created for these police stations.

The state government had completed the process of recruitment of 1000 constables and 2300 sub-inspectors and the remaining vacancies at the women police stations would be filled from among the new recruits, he said.

Only Sheohar, Araria, West Champaran and Sheikhpura districts do not have women police stations at present, Chaudhary said.
