Bihar gets light rain

Light rainfall occurred at one or two places in Bihar, while the weather remained generally dry in most parts of the state.

In the past 24 hours, Purnea received a rainfall of 0.7 mm and Bhagalpur received 1.6 mm of rainfall, the Met office said in a bulletin.

The Met department has forecast partly cloudy sky for Patna and Gaya tomorrow.

The Met office also said that there is a possibility of rain or thunderstorm in Bhagalpur and Purnea tomorrow.

The maximum temperature at Patna stood at 32 deg C today, while Gaya recorded a maximum temperature of 37.7 deg C the Met office said.
 

Bhagalpur's maximum temperature stood at 28.7 deg C and the maximum temperature at Purnea was registered at 27.6 deg C, the Met office said.

Dehri in Rohtas district recorded the highest maximum temperature at 38 deg C.
