Bihar, J'khand announce ex-gratia to the kin of slain BSF ASI

Bihar and Jharkhand governments today announced ex-gratia payments to the next of kin of a BSF personnel who was killed by militants near Srinagar airport yesterday.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced Rs 11 lakh ex-gratia to the next of kin of the slain BSF Assistant Sub-Inspector B K Yadav, an official statement said in Patna.

Expressing grief, Kumar said that the country would always remember Yadav's bravery.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das also announced Rs two lakh as assistance and a job for the kin of the deceased BSF ASI Braj Kishore Yadav, an official release said in Ranchi.
 

Yadav was killed and three jawans were injured when militants attacked a BSF camp near the high-security Srinagar airport yesterday.
