Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Ramai Ram today escaped unhurt when a mob attacked his vehicle near Manika Chowk under Mushari area, police said.
About 20-25 unidentified people pelted stones at the vehicle when the minister boarded it after paying obeisance at the Budhnath temple here this evening, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar said.
While the minister escaped unhurt, his three supporters sitting sustained injuries by a broken glass of the vehicle, Kumar said.
The motive behind the attack on the minister is being probed, he said, adding that an FIR has been lodged in this connection.
Later the minister was safely escorted to his residence in Muzaffarpur town, the DSP said.
