Bihar NSUI president suspended for indiscipline

President of Bihar NSUI Sumit Kumar Sunny was today suspended on the charge of breaching organisational discipline.

Sunny has been suspended with immediate effect by the national executive committee of the Congress student wing, till inquiry against him is completed, Taranga Gogoi, national secretary and in-charge of Bihar NSUI said in a release.

NSUI sources said Sunny had recently quarrelled with the Pradesh Congress Committee chief and even sat on a dharna at the state Congress headquarters against him in the presence of party secretaries K L Sharma and Paresh Dhanani.

First vice-president of state NSUI Gaurav Kumar will look after the organisation's work now, Gogoi said, adding that a copy of the suspension order has been made available to state Congress president Ashok Chaudhary.
