Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in Bihar and heavy rainfall was recorded from one or two places in Lakhisarai and Begusarai districts, the MeT office said.
Of the four major cities, Patna registered 3 mm of rainfall today till 5:30 pm, while Gaya and Bhagalpur did not receive any rainfall, it said.
Purnea had recorded 2.7 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours and Patna 1 mm of rainfall, the MeT office said.

Purnea recorded the highest maximum temperature at 35.5 degrees Celsius followed by 34 degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur, 33.4 degrees Celsius in Patna and 32.8 degrees Celsius in Gaya, the MeT office said.
In its forecast for the next 24 hours for the state, the MeT department said the the sky would be generally cloudy with light rain in Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur. Purnea is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain.
Patna was the most humid place in the state today with its humidity level at 92 per cent, followed by 88 per cent at Gaya and Purnea and 87 per cent in Bhagalpur.
