Bihar remains hot and dry

Bihar today witnessed a hot and dry weather with Gaya being the hottest place in the state at 43.1 degrees celsius, three degrees above normal.

The state capital Patna registered 37.4 degrees celsius against yesterday's 39 degrees celsius, a Met bulletin said.

The maximum temperature of Bhagalpur was 37 degrees celsius and that of Purnea 32.2 degrees celsius, it said.

Patna and Gaya may witness clear sky tomorrow while Bhagalpur and Purnea are expected to witness partly cloudy sky, it said.

Met department said that Gaya's maximum temperature might cross 44 degrees celsius tomorrow whereas Patna and Bhagalpur's maximum temperatures are expected to be around 38 degrees celsius.
