Bihar remains hot and humid

Weather today remained hot and humid in parts of Bihar and capital Patna with the MeT department predicting rains tomorrow.

Patna registered maximum temperature of 38.1 degrees Celsius. Gaya had a maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius, while it was 36.5 degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur and 36 degrees Celsius in Purnea, MeT officials said.

Patna witnessed 67 per cent humidity in the morning, while in Gaya was 58 per cent. It was 80 per cent in Purnea and 74 per cent in Bhagalpur.

The state MeT office forecast cloudy sky with chances of rainfall in most parts of the state tomorrow.
