The state capital Patna today witnessed a bright and sunny day pushing up the Mercury level by a few notches.
The Patna Meteorological Centre has forecast a foggy/misty morning to be followed by partly cloudy sky later in the day in four major cities of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea tomorrow.
As per the Met bulletin, the maximum temperature of Patna was recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius which is 4 deg C above from the normal temperature, with a minimum temperature of 11.8 deg C.

Bhagalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature of the state at 31 deg C, followed by Gaya and Purnea which recorded 29.9 deg C and 29.7 deg C, respectively.
The Met office said Gaya, Purnea and Bhagalpur registered minimum temperatures of 10.8, 11.4 and 14 deg C, respectively.
The state's lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 8 deg C at Sabour in Bhagalpur district.
