Bihar witnesses light to moderate rainfall at few places

With south west monsoon getting weak in the past 24 hours in Bihar, light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in the state.

As per the met office bulletin the highest rainfall of 3 cm was received by Forbesganj, followed by Bahadurganj, Mahua & Khagadia which registered rainfall of 2 cm each.

Patna received 3 mm rainfall and Gaya received 1 mm while other major cities of Bhagalpur and Purnea did not receive any rainfall in the past 24 hours.

Among the major cities Bhagalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature at 37 degrees celsius, followed by Patna at 36 degrees, Purnea at 35.8 degrees and Gaya at 35.2 degrees, the met office said.
 

The humidity level in major cities hovered between 75 to 80 per cent.

As per the met department bulletin Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea are likely to witness generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder shower tomorrow.
