Over 200 State Youth Congress activists brought out a procession to busy Dakbunglow roundabout in the state capital and burnt chief minister's effigy.
State Youth Congress president Lalan Kumar alleged that chief minister was making tall claims of establishing rule of law in Bihar but the police are allegedly committing excesses in the state.
Referring to an incident in the state capital, he claimed that angry locals in Patna town beat up a Deputy Superintendent of police and his bodyguard for allegedly mercilessly assaulting a shopkeeper Niranjan Patel yesterday.
