Bike rider killed, two injured in road accident

A person driving a motorcycle was killed and two pillion riders were injured in a road accident here today, police said.

The three, all hailing from Madhya Pradesh, were travelling on a motorcycle when it crashed into a large roadside garbage container on the Station Road, Najan Patil, Inspector at Bazarpeth Police Station, said.

The bike driver, Raju Dhobi (20), a resident of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, died on the spot. The pillion riders Ajay Ramchandra Wagh (19), a resident of Burhanpur, and Vijay Pandurang Nagre (22), also from Khandwa, received severe injuries, and were admitted to Civil Hospital here, he said.
 

The trio was on way to Bhusawal railway station when the accident took place at around 1.30 am.
