A motorcyclist was killed and a pillion-rider was seriously injured this evening when an unidentified vehicle hit them near Kusunpur village on Cuttack-Chandballi state highway under Kendrapara Sadar police station jurisdiction.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Bez (25), a resident of Balia of Kendrapara district.
The pillion rider, Debashis Das, has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, in critical condition, police said.
