Bikers rally promotes Simhastha Mela

With an aim to promote Simhastha (Kumbh) Mela, which is scheduled to be held from April 22 to May 21 next year at Ujjain, a bikers rally which has embarked for the purpose on a nationwide tour reached the national capital to invite people for taking bath in holy Kshipra river on the occasion.

The bikers team which started its journey from Bhopal on November 27 has reached its next destination New Delhi yesterday, an official of the Public Relation Department said today.

They promoted the event at the historic India Gate about the Ujjain Simhastha to be held from April 22 to May 21, 2016, he said.
 

The team members also met former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi and Madhya Pradesh's former Minister and BJP's National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and presented them publicity material related to Simhastha.

The bikers team was flagged off for a nationwide tour to promote Simhasth Mela by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on November 27.

So far they have spread the importance of Simhastha Mela in Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Nimbaheda, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Pushkar and Jaipur before reaching Delhi.

The bikers met distinguished citizens in these cities and invited them to Simhastha-2016.

After Delhi, the next destination of the bikers team is Rameshwaram via Noida, Meerut, Haridwar, Dehradun, Ambala, Atari, Ganga Nagar, Jaisalmer, Mt. Abu, Ahmedabad, Goa, Panaji, Jog Falls and Chennai.

The young bikers will cover a distance of about 19 thousand kilometers in nearly two months period to promote Simhastha Mela.
