BIL, Telangana Govt ink MoU for financial education centre

Financial and capital markets training institute, BSE Institute Ltd, has signed a pact with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) to set up a centre of excellence for financial education in the State.

The primary focus would be on training and upskilling of youth on capital markets and finance sector, said a statement from BIL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BSE Limited.

BIL MD and CEO Ambarish Datta said, "We are confident that this collaboration with the TASK will help us create an exceptional global talent pool for the very challenging BFSI industry."

TASK CEO Sujiv Nair said that the MoU is a joint effort to skill and certify graduates in the BFSI sector, introduce courses that will not only be as per the National Occupational Standards, but also match global standards in this domain and explore skilling programmes for engineering graduates in the Fintech space.
