The filmmakers behind the upcoming historical documentary "Painted Down", a film that highlights the once-common practice of painting white stuntmen in black makeup to double for African-American performers, have withdrawn their support for comedian Bill Cosby.
The "Cosby Show" star has been battling allegations of decades-old sexual abuse from more than 30 women since last year and the situation worsened earlier this month when a sealed deposition from a lawsuit was made public, reported Entertainment Weekly.
In the testimony, Cosby confessed to giving Andrea Constand, who accused him of molesting her, Benadryl and obtaining sedatives called Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to get intimate with.
