Bill Murray, who played parapsychologist Peter Venkman in the 1984 classic comedy, is fine with the idea of an all-women starcast in the reboot and has his own list of who should play the three roles.

Apart from Murray, the film starred Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis and was directed by Ivan Reitman.

The 63-year-old actor, who was at the Toronto Film Festival, told the Toronto Star that he is fully supportive of actresses being a part of the movie.

"I'm fine with it. I would go to that movie, and they'd probably have better outfits, too," Murray said.

The actor feels his 'St Vincent' co-star Melissa McCarthy would fit in the film about three parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City.

"Melissa would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny - God, she's funny! I like this girl Linda Cardellini a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there," he said.
