Country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus has teamed up with rapper Buck 22 to release a hip-hop remix of his 1992 hit song 'Achy Breaky Heart'.

The 52-year-old country music icon collaborated on the sequel 'Achy Breaky 2' with singer Dionne Warwick's son, Buck 22, reported Aceshowbiz.

Cyrus provided a link to the music video and tweeted, "Two decades later 'Achy Breaky Heart' has a new hip hop spin to it thanks to my friend."

Buck 22 revealed in a statement how the association between him and Cyrus took place.

"I asked (Cyrus) if he would mind if I could take a crack at remaking 'Achy Breaky Heart' and he looked at me for a moment, and said 'lots of people have tried already, but go for it,'" he said.

"He didn't have a clue that I had already gone into the lab and cooked up a demo of what I thought would be a fun EDM/hip-hop styled version, which at the time only had a sample from the original of his voice. He liked what he heard and, weeks later, arrived at the session to record this track," he added.

Alongwith the video, Cyrus posted a link that opens with TV host Larry King making announcements about a UFO "seen transcending over Europe" and goes on to show scantily-clad aliens who abduct Cyrus and Buck 22.
