Union Minister Birender Singh was today given a warm welcome as he made his maiden visit to Jind after becoming a cabinet minister.
Hundreds of people welcomed the minister at the PWD guest house here. The minister met people and listened to their grievances.
The Union Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Sanitation & Drinking Water asked the officials to resolve the grievances of the people.
Superintendent of Police Badan Singh Rana, Additional Upayukta Bhal Singh Bishnoi, Jind SDM Virendra Sehrawat and several other district administration officials were present on the occasion.
Later, the minister left for the family function of his party workers at Uchana, Narwana and Jind. Uchana MLA Premlata and several BJP workers accompanied the minister during his visit.
