Dr Pradeep Kumar Bisen has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Jawharlal Nehru Agriculture University, Jabalpur.
The appointment was made by Madhya Pradesh Governor and Chancellor of the state universities, Om Prakash Kohli.
Bisen is presently posted as Director, Extension Services in the same university, a Raj Bhawan official said today.
His appointment is for a term of five years from the date of assuming the new charge, the official said.
The Chancellor also extended by four years the term of Dr Sangita Shukla as the Vice Chancellor of Jiwaji University, Gwalior, he said.
The governor also reappointed Prof. Naresh Chandra Gautam as the Vice chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday University, Chitrakoot for a term of four years from the date of assuming charge after the end of his current term on the same post, the official added.
