"There is no question of joining hands with Chautala's party, which has been outrightly rejected by the people of Haryana. I will rather take retirement from politics than go with Chautala, who is facing court cases and has no future in politics," HJC President and Hisar MP, Kuldeep Bishnoi, told reporters here.
He said that Chautala has "wavering thinking" and keeps "shifting his stance".
"If you go by his statements in the recent past, he had long back predicted that HJC-BJP alliance will break. On some occasion, he says that BJP is good while attacks them on some other day. It's time he should take retirement (from politics)," said Bishnoi, who had defeated Chautala's son and INLD Secretary General, Ajay Chautala, in a bypoll to the Hisar Lok Sabha seat, over a year back.
He claimed that his party's alliance with BJP was "permanent".
Asked why ruling Congress and main opposition INLD leaders often keep claiming that HJC-BJP tie up will eventually break-up, Bishnoi replied, "they are spreading these rumours to prevent exodus of leaders from their respective parties to the HJC-BJP fold".
He also said that JD(U) President Sharad Yadav had "clarified" that he had taken part in INLD's Rewari rally on November one in his personal capacity to pay tributes to late Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal and not as a NDA leader.
Bishnoi, whose party is organising a rally on December 2 in Sirsa to mark five years of formation of HJC, lashed out at the UPA Government for its alleged anti-people policies and claimed that the FDI in multi-brand retail will lead to monopoly and badly hit the small traders.
"The UPA and even the Hooda government had been saying the same thing about SEZs earlier, claiming that it will benefit people and lead to job creation, but the concept miserably flopped," Bishnoi claimed.
On the controversy surrounding BJP President Nitin Gadkari in the wake of allegations of dubious funding for his company, Bishnoi said, "Gadkari ji has himself said that he is open to investigation. I will only say if a person has done any wrong-doing, he tries to escape from probe and not volunteer to face it".
