The body of a student of the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, was found hanging from the ceiling in his hostel room, police said today.
27-year-old PhD student Kirti Kumar, who belonged to Bihar, was last seen on Sunday night during a function in the institution before his body was found hanging from the fan yesterday, the police said here.
Kumar, a bright student, was reportedly under stress due to some employment issue.
