Veteran Congress leader and former chief minister Giridhar Gamang, who was earlier leading, is now trailing behind BJD candidate and sitting MLA Jhina Hikaka in Koraput (ST) constituency by 1,406 votes.
In Nabarangpur, Congress nominee Pradeep Kumar Majhi was leading over Balabhadra Majhi of BJD by 2,848 votes.

In Bhubaneswar sitting BJD MP Prasanna Kuamar Patsani was ahead of BJP's Prithviraj Harichandan by 9,551 votes, while BJD MP Kalikesh Narayan Singhdeo was leading over BJP's Sangeeta Singhdeo in Balangir by 6542 votes.
BJD sitting MP Tathagat Satpathy was leading over BJP's Rudra Narayan Pani by 9292 votes in Dhenkanal and Bhartruhari Mahtab was leading by 13,279 votes over Aparajita Mohanty of Congress in Cuttack.
In Kandhamal, Hemendra Chandra Singh of BJD was ahead of Harihar Karan of Congress by 25,592 votes, while his party colleague Sakuntala Laguri was ahead of Anant Nayak of BJP in Keonjhar by 24,962 votes.
Ramachandra Hansda of BJD was leading over Nepole Raghu Murmu of BJP by 9518 votes in Mayurbhanj, while Nagendra Pradhan of BJD was ahead of BJP's Suresh Pujari in Sambalpur by 10,364 votes.
In Bhadrak, BJD leader and former Union minister Arjun Charan Sethi was ahead of Congress' Sangram Keshari Jena by 2938 votes, while in Jagatsinghpur BJD's Kulamani Samal was leading over Congress nominee Bibhu Prasad Tarai by over 11,000 votes and in Jajpur BJD's Rita Tarai was ahead over BJP nominee Amiyakanta Mallick by 1538 votes.
In Kendrapara, BJD's Baijayant Panda was ahead of his Congress rival Dharanidhar Nayak by 4012 votes.
