"The party under a national-level campaign conducted several activities, including protests and demonstrations, since June 7 till today and more than one lakh activists will court arrest tomorrow across the state," the party's state president Arun Chaturvedi claimed here today.

"Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Vidhansabha Vasundhara Raje will lead the workers and court arrest in Jhalawar whereas party's national secretary Kirit Somaiya, Deputy Leader of Opposition Ghanshyam Tiwari and senior leader Ramdas Agrawal will remain present in Jaipur," he said.

Chaturvedi will also court arrest in Jaipur while MLAs Kiran Maheshwari and Gulabchand Kataria will do so in Rajsamand and Udaipur respectively.

He criticised the state government for launching schemes which, he claimed, were announced during the previous BJP government.

"The government announced to give unemployment allowance in the state from July this year but it was BJP government which had in 2007 announced this scheme," he said.

About the government's decision to regularise the controversial Pritviraj Nagar scheme, Chaturvedi said that it was a political decision because the assembly elections in the state are round the corner.
