Speaking to reporters here, state BJP chief G Kishan Reddy said the government should respect the sentiments of Telangana people by allowing the proposed march.

"It would be a peaceful march, but police are unnecessarily provoking the people of the region by making baseless statements," Reddy alleged.

The march would be put off if the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh assured to table the separate Telangana bill in the winter session of the Parliament, the BJP leader said.

The march has been organized by Telangana Joint Action Committee, and BJP has supported it.
