BJP today hit the streets here demanding implementation of the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations for Tripura government employees without any further delay.
The procession, which was going towards Raj Bhawan, was, however, stopped by the police.
At a rally there, state BJP president Biplab Deb said, "If our neighbours could implement the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission, why cannot the Left Front government do it?"

"The BJP will be voted to power in the 2018 Assembly elections and it will dig out the culprit. No one will be spared," he said.
Later, a party delegation called on Governor Tathagata Roy and submitted a memorandum demanding 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations for the state government employees.
