BJP does not believe in secret alliances, its spokesperson Madhav Bhandari has said here.

He was speaking to reporters here last evening.

Reacting to the reports of a meeting between NCP chief Sharad Pawar and BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Bhandari said, "We have an alliance with Shiv Sena, Rashtriya Samaj Party, Republican Party of India and some other friends, and we believe in facing the elections openly."

He termed the rumours about Modi-Pawar meeting as a possible attempt by Pawar to mount pressure on Congress.

On Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's agitation against the toll collection in the state, Bhandari said it indicated that MNS was losing the public support.
