After its stupendous victory in Lok Sabha election BJP today held a meeting of its organising secretaries to evaluate its preparedness for the upcoming elections in the States of Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
The party leaders discussed its plans to strengthen the party at the grass root level and evolve its strategy for the ensuing assembly polls slated later this year and early next year.
Holding the meet, BJP general secretary (organisation) Ram Lal stressed on the point that the party leaders should reachout to the common man and touch base at the grass roots level.

It was also decided that the party's State secretary (organisation) in Uttar Pradesh Sunil Bansal will now function as the party's State general secretary (organisation) in Uttar Pradesh, while Rakesh Kumar Jain, who held the responsibility earlier will be given a responsibility at the central level.
Ravindra Raju will also be the organising secretary of Seemandhra, the residual State of Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation.
