BJP gen secy hits out at TRS for 'autocratic' rule

Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri and BJP general secretary Ram Madhav campaigned in support of party nominee D Aravind for the Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency in Telangana on Monday.

Madhav hit out at the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi government for its "autocratic" and "family rule".

He also highlighted the welfare and development initiatives of the National Democratic Alliance government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Nizamabad is represented by K Kavitha, daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Meanwhile, former Bharatiya Janata Party legislator G Kishan Reddy and other party candidates have filed their nominations on Monday.

The BJP is going alone in Telangana, which goes to the polls in the first phase on April 11.
