BJP govt would spend 60 pc on rural infrastructure: Zadafia

Senior BJP leader Gordhanbhai Zadafia today assured that sixty per cent of the Jharkhand budget would be spent on the rural infrastructure and agriculture sector, if BJP is voted to power in the assembly election.

"BJP is committed to implement the promises made in the election manifesto and 60 per cent of the state budget of Jharkhand will be spent on the development of rural infrastructure and agriculture sector," Zadafia, former Gujarat Home minister who has been holding meeting in rural pockets, said.

Addressing a press conference at BJP Office here, Zadafia claimed that the development fund being siphoned off and loot of minerals would come to an end in Jharkhand, if BJP is voted to power.
 

Jharkhand has earned a bad name because of prevailing corruption and political instability, he said assuring that BJP would be able to change whole map of Jharkhand in next ten years, if voted to power with majority.

Zadafia said BJP manifesto also promised to set up an "Agriculture Corpus Fund" for the benefit of the farmer community in the state, which would be implemented.
