Hitting back at Narendra Modi for attacking UPA over corruption and dynastic politics, Congress today said the BJP's prime ministerial candidate is asking for 60 months to make a change but his party did nothing when it was in power at the Centre for six years till 2004.

"He (Modi) is asking for 60 months...Janata (people) gave six years to BJP. They couldn't do anything. They forget those six years at the Centre till 2004," Union Minister and Congress leader Rajiv Shukla said in reaction to Modi's statement that "BJP will change everything in 60 months".

Addressing a rally in Himachal Pradesh's Sujanpur, Modi said Congress which had ruled the country for last 60 years had done nothing towards development.

Samajwadi Party also slammed Modi with its leader Naresh Agarwal saying that the BJP was doing everything in a hurry to make him the Prime Minister.

"It is a national election. So Modi should say about his views on India-China relations, price rise, unemployment, terrorism, decreasing value of Rupee. What will be his relations with the US if he comes to power?" he asked.
