BJP holds protest in front of UP Assembly

Members of BJP Scheduled Caste wing today held a protest demonstration in front of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly against incidents of atrocities against women and alleged irregularities in government schemes for SCs.

The BJP Anusuchit Morcha workers, led by state president Gautam Chaudhary, sat on the road in front of the state Assembly, BJP assistant media in-charge Manish Dixit said here.

Addressing the gathering, Chaudhary alleged that during the tenure of Akhilesh Yadav government, crime against women, specially those belonging to Scheduled Caste and lower strata, were on the rise.

He also alleged that irregularities were being committed in the government schemes being run for the welfare of SC.
