Even as hiccups continued to hit seat sharing talks among poll partners in Tamil Nadu, the state unit BJP expressed confidence of finalising the deal in the next two days.

"We are on talks with DMDK, PMK, MDMK, All India Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam, Kongu Makkal Desiya Kazhagam and Indhiya Jananayaga Katchi. From tomorrow, we will hasten the talks. Within two days, we will finalise it," BJP state unit president Pon Radhakrishnan told reporters here.

BJP managed to bring on board the principal opposition party DMDK, Vanniyar-backed outfit PMK and Vaiko-led MDMK, besides a few other outfits to establish a formidable alliance to contest the ruling AIADMK and DMK in the Lok Sabha polls.

The much-awaited decision of DMDK came as a shot in the arm for BJP after the actor-turned politician Vijayakant party announced last week that it began talks with the saffron party for alliance.

There are reports that a demand for more seats among poll partners has been an impediment in finalising the poll pact.
