Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said BJP was "blessed by best leadership" in the country even as party patriarch L K Advani sat listening on the dais at a party rally here.
"We are lucky that we are being blessed by the best leadership in the country and I assure the Central leadership that we would throw Congress out of power at Centre and would also form government under the leadership of Narendra Modi," Chouhan told BJP's 'Karyakarta Mahakumbh'.
Not long ago speculation was rife about Chouhan in the reckoning for BJP's choice for the top job, especially after Advani showered praise on him for doing a commendable job by lifting the state out of poverty.

Chouhan accused Congress of arm-twisting adversaries by threatening them with CBI raids.
"If Congress is so fond of conducting raids then it should first carry them out against persons like Robert Vadra (Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law) who turned billionaire overnight," the chief minister alleged.
Taking a dig at Congress-led UPA government, Chouhan said, "As so many scams have come to light under Congress, it is difficult to remember them. I think they can be listed alphabetically."
In his speech later, Narednra Modi praised Chouhan for championing "inclusive growth" in Madhya Pradesh.
