Lashing out at the opposition party, Union Health Minister Gulab Nabi Azad today said BJP is only the face whereas its heart, mind and body is of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Addressing a poll rally in Naval Sagar on the last day of electioneering today in support of Mamta Sharma, National Commission for Women chief and Congress candidate from the Bundi assembly segment, Azad alleged that the RSS and BJP have made no contribution in the country's freedom struggle.

Claiming that "BJP is only the face, its heart, mind and body is of RSS," Azad appealed to the people to vote in favour of his party to defeat the right-wing Hindu outfit.

Listing out welfare measures of the Congress governments in the state and at the Centre, the Union minister said the Congress has given a lot to the people and now it is their turn to make the party strong by voting for it in the December 1 Assembly elections.

During the Congress rule, the country has seen remarkable development in infrastructural sector, he said.

The Congress government at the Centre has appointed an ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) in urban as well as in rural areas to take care of newborns and their mothers, he said, adding that "we are the true relative and caretaker of the public."

Local MP Ijayraj Singh, party candidate Mamta Sharma, party district president Rakesh Biot also addressed the election rally and called upon the people to vote for the Congress.
