A day before polling in Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency, BJP and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against each other alleging violation of Model Code of Conduct.
In a letter faxed to the EC, BJP alleged that they were in possession of a video clip that showed JVM distributing money among villagers to influence the poll tomorrow.
BJP's East Singhbhum district committee spokesman Anil Modi said the incident happened somewhere near the copper township of Musaboni, about 35 km from here.

The polling agent of the party, Shashi Bhusan in a letter faxed to the Chief Election Commissioner stated that they had information that BJP had convened a secret meeting of its block and mandal committee presidents and instructed them to disrupt the poll process to prevent people from taking part in the electoral process in booths where mandate was likely to go against them.
When asked about the incidents, Returning Officer-cum- Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Amitabh Kaushal said, "We have information about allegation of money distribution allegedly by JVM and are verifying the complaints.
"We are also verifying alleged violation of Code of Conduct by JVM candidate, who has held a press conference even after the campaigning came to an end this evening," he said.
