Stepping up its campaign ahead of next year's assembly poll in UP, BJP today launched an email service where people can complain against land grabbings in the state.

The email id 'kabjahatao@bjp.Org' was launched to help receive complaints against encroachment and land grabbing on public and private land anywhere in the state.

It is part of BJP's efforts to reach out to public and step up its attack against the ruling Samajwadi Party in a bid to wrest power in the state.

The service came a day after BJP chief Amit Shah lashed out against the Akhilesh Yadav government, accusing it of aiding "land grabbings" in the state and providing protection to the goons behind such activities and land mafia.

He had said that his party will launch the agitation by forcing the authorities to get the encroached land freed.

"My party in the state will launch an email service where public can complain against any kind of encroachment or land grabbing. Even before the government, out party workers will act on the complaints and get the land freed of encroachments. We will force the DM and SP to take action against such grabbings and encroachments and getting the land freed," he said in Kasganj yesterday.

Uttar Pradesh chief of the party Keshav Prasad Maurya said, "BJP feels the public of Uttar Pradesh is terrorised by the goons of ruling Samajwadi Party and will come to the aid of all such people who have become a headache for the state."

He said "we will stand with the people of Uttar Pradesh and our workers will do everything including 'andolans' (agitations) for getting the land freed from the hands of grabbers and cleared of encroachments.
