BJP leader O Rajagopal today filed an affidavit in Kerala High Court accusing Congress MP Sashi Tharoor, against whom he had unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha polls, of non-disclosure of assets inherited from his late wife Sunanda Pushkar while filing nomination papers and seeking his election to be set aside.
Tharoor, who was re-elected from the Thiruvananthapuram constituency, had defeated Rajagopal in the closely contested polls in April this year.
The affidavit was filed on an election petition filed by S Suresh, a BJP worker, challenging Tharoor's election.
