BJP leader L Ganesan today said

the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu next year would be a three cornered contest with the people looking for an alternative to DMK and ADMK.

Talking to newsmen here today he said "a third front, without DMK and ADMK will be formed in Tamil Nadu. The BJP will work for it."

Referring to the MDMK leader's Vaiko's Makkal Nala Kootani (People's Welfare Front) he said "It is an imaginary front and I doubt whether it will last till the elections"

He said the BJP and the RSS were willing to help the government in the flood relief operations. He said the impact of the flood was the worst in the last forty years, and he did not want to criticise the government on this issue.

He said the state government should be careful and should act against the 150 ISIS members, reported to be hiding in Tamil Nadu. They should not hesistate about taking the action fearing the electoral outcome. The government should focus on taking action against the ISIS supporters in Tamil Nadu. As many as 21 Islamic organisations in India have condemned the Paris attack, he said.
