Senior Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav today alleged that Rs 2,000 currency notes are vanishing from the market because the BJP leaders are hoarding cash.

He said in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, all secular parties with socialistic ideology would join hands to defeat the "communal saffron party".

"Demonetisation has increased corruption in the country. Rs 2,000 currency notes are out of the market because the BJP leaders and their financers are hoarding the money," Yadav said here.

He alleged that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has become silent on the issue of corruption.

"In UP, government employees are looting the public. The chief minister has become a silent spectator on the issue of bribery," the SP leader alleged.
