BJP MLAs continued to boycott the Himachal Pradesh Assembly session seeking an apology from Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for his derogatory remarks, despite repeated appeals from the ruling party to return to the House.

The BJP was firm on its demand for an apology from Singh for his derogatory remarks against party leader P K Dhumal and other MLAs for the consecutive tenth day.

The BJP members did not participate in the proceedings of the House from the very first day of the session and disrupted the Governor's address.

The 19-day session with 14 sittings will end on February 21 and so far ten sittings have been held.

Meanwhile, the House today held discussions on demands for grant and the budget would be passed on February 19.

The government is expected to bring the Lokayukta Bill in the current session and pass it.
