Accusing BJP MPs for not raising issues related to Uttarakhand with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Surendra Kumar today said the "BJP high command might have imposed a ban" on them from raising matters.

The five BJP MPs from Uttarakhand could not raise state's concerns with the Prime Minister during his Rishikesh visit. The high command might have imposed ban on them from raising state issues, Kumar said in a press conference today.

Taking a dig at the MPs, the Chief Minister Harish Rawat's media in-charge "requested" the BJP senior leaders to lift the ban on the Lok Sabha Members over speaking on state-related issues.

Rejecting the claims of BJP leaders that the Centre has not cut funds to the state, Kumar said that the allocation has been decreased for Uttarakhand.

Accusing BJP leaders of speaking just opposite of the facts, Kumar said that if Opposition makes only baseless allegations then it is against its dignity and is against the state's interests.
