Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot today accused BJP of misleading the nation with hollow slogans "as it has failed to fulfill any of its poll promises".

"BJP is misleading the nation on various fronts as it has failed to fulfill any of its promises so far except spreading falsehood and hollow slogans," the former Union Minister and Rajasthan Congress chief said.

Addressing an election rally in Sunderbani belt of Rajouri district, Pilot charged the Modi government with serving the interests of big corporate houses only.

He said that because of various policies and programmes of the UPA government, India emerged as a strong nation.

He said the "divisive politics" of BJP and certain other forces were against the pluralistic feature of this nation and added that secularism alone can maintain the unity and integrity of the country.

Pilot appealed to voters to support Congress and elect its candidates so that the party can form the government in the state.
